Summary

Dr. J is working on a new invention: a transaphone. It's a tiny microphone that is attached to the frame of glasses. Andrew, as usual, interrupts the testing of the new device with his own dire dilema. He needs to think of a new business for Junior Achiever's day and can only come up with Date a Superhero. "But, that hardly seems fair to the mortals."

Dr. J inadvertantly supplies Andrew with a job idea when Andrew offers to return some video tapes for him. Andrew decides to put his superspeed to use and become the world's fastest delivery service. He is hired at a store, and immediately falls head-over- heels for Kathy, the Manager.

Yet, all is not as it seems. The assistant Manager, Mike, is doing more than selling videos, as Andrew discovers when he makes a delivery of one video and one bag of cocaine. Andrew calls the cops on Mike, but Kathy is the one caught and arrested. Andrew vows to rescue Kathy, but he needs Dr. J's transaphone to do it. He also needs Dr. J.

The plan involves Dr. J posing as a drug dealer from out of town. Considering that Jeffcoate is a former customer of the store, it's amazing that he isn't recognised despite his disguise. A meet is established, but what would be a good television drug meet without its hitches? Mike and Dr. J are forceably transferred to a different locale by Mike's other boss. Dr. J manages to impart enough clues to Andrew to be located before any serious damage happens. The cops arrive. The real villains are caught. Kathy is saved. And Andrew gets a job at the video store. Neither the job nor the store are ever again mentioned.
