Andrew: If I use this power? Summary Dr. J is experimenting with the photon beam again, trying to find some consistency with its results. Mrs. Shellenbach barges in to complain about something, and Dr. J suggests that they call a truce. If they can't be friends, perhaps they can be better neighbours. Ruth reluctantly agrees. As it happens, the arrival of Ruth's nephew, Jamie, puts that truce to an immediate test. Jamie is a roadie for the rap group Michie Mee & L.A. Luv, and not a very good one. If he wants to keep his job, he has one last chance to really impress them. And he thinks a nice light at their show will do it. When Dr. J makes the mistake of testing the photon beam outdoors, Jamie sees it and thinks that photon beam would make a very impressive light. Mrs. Shellenbach and Jamie go over to Dr. J's to ask him if he has any lights they can borrow. Mrs. Shellenbach gets bored and leaves. Then, while Dr. J's back is turned, Jamie steals the photon beam. Meanwhile, Kirk is showing off his tremendous musical knowledge while Andrew vacuums the living room. Dr. J bursts in with the announcement that the photon beam has been stolen. The three race off to track it down before it's too late. They rely on Kirk's extensive knowledge to track down where the group is playing. The first place Kirk takes them to turns out to be locked, which is when Kirk bothers to inform them that there's more than one possibility. Andrew super-speeds off to check the second, while Kirk works on bribing his way into the first. Andrew overhears Jamie's name, making him think the BlueNote is the place. Dr. J meets up with him, leaving Kirk alone to shoot off his mouth at the first place. It turns out Kirk's first assessment was right. Andrew has to super-speed back across town. And Kirk has to get into the club like a normal person, where he sees the light in action. Jamie aims the beam at the ceiling, unknowingly weakening some of the gear up there. He then pulls the beam down to shine on the group. Andrew arrives just in time to jump in front of the beam before it hits any of the group's members. The light show impresses Kirk, but horrifies Dr. J, who shows up just in time to witness it and to stop Jamie from aiming it at any of the crowd. Before Ruth and Dr. J can have it out, the weakened column collapses, throwing the club into darkness. Andrew, who is underneath the column when it collapses, catches it. And realises as he struggles to not be crushed beneath it, that he can lift it with no problem. Andrew now has super-strength. Later, Mrs. Shellenbach comes over to apologise to Ben for her nephew's behaviour. The two realise then that they need to fight in order to be happy.
