Kirk promptly falls in love with Paula and begins neglecting his friendship with Andrew in favour of his new girlfriend. Andrew also acquires a new girlfriend Lauren. While Andrew is being neglected by Kirk, he revitalises his friendship with Dr. J. although his friendship with Kirk's gets seriously rocky. Kirk quits his job at Licks to spend more time with Paula, leaving Andrew alone at a job he never wanted. As Kirk can no longer afford his set of tickets, he sells them to Andrew, who sells them to Dr. J. Andrew and his new girlfriend end up double- dating to the revival with Dr. J and Stephanie Clements. Kirk should'a gone to the revival. Instead, he gets to meet Paula's parents, whom he then proceeds to antagonize: They are vegetarians and he insists on the primacy of beef. He challenges Paula's father to an arm-wrestling match in the middle of dinner. In the end, Kirk and Andrew make up, until Andrew invites Lauren along for a boys-only afternoon.
