You have invisibility and I have . . . detention.SummaryThere's a new principle at Briarwood, sent there to curtail the discipline problem. In a botched attempt to impress him, Andrew and Kirk wind up on his bad side.Andrew's first day of detention is interrupted by Dr. J who desperately needs Andrew's help. It seems he has accidentally turned himself invisible because of an experiment he and Andrew were working on the previous night and he needs to reduplicate it in order to become visible again. The experiment succeeds. But when Andrew shows up for detention the next day, he is sent to the Principle's office. Dr. J interrupts this too. He has made himself invisible again and can't find the key to his lab safe. He drags Andrew off to help him open the lab safe. When the Principle returns and sees that Andrew is gone, Andrew is expelled. Soon after Andrew leaves the lab, Mrs. Shellenbach stops by to find out what Dr. J's been up to. Naked, and invisible except for his hat, he jokes around with her. The joking scares her and she runs out of the lab, knocking the antidote off the lab bench and breaking it. When he stops by the Clement's to solitict Andrew's help yet again, he overhears Stephanie inform Andrew that he's been expelled. Feeling guilty, he heads down to Briarwood high school. He poses as the Principle's conscience and convinces him to give Andrew a second chance. That chance manifests in the form of a Chemistry exam which Andrew must pass in order to be readmitted. Andrew is not thrilled with the news since Chemistry is his worst subject. Andrew's better idea is that Dr. J make use of his invisibility to help Andrew cheat. Dr. J vetos that. Still, Andrew has to take the exam now, which is a problem with the clock ticking on Dr. J. Not only that, but they're missing a crucial ingredient to make the cure. Fortunately, the O'Connell Research Facility has some and Dr. J has security clearance. The two head off to find the ingedient. Andrew has no problem passing the security clearance, a robot with infra-red sensors, but Dr. J does. Andrew gets the chemical, but accidentally locks Dr. J in the research facility with the security robot. Andrew is on his own to take the test -- which he passes with flying colours. Meanwhile, Dr. J is playing dodge with the laser shooting robot. Andrew has to break back into the research center to rescue Dr. J. And succeeds with seconds to spare. |
