Growth Labs Account Manager

Location:

Full time, Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Work Schedule: EST or New York time zone, preferably from Canada, Caribbean, or South America, open to candidates willing to work US EST time zone
  • Work Schedule: Working hours must overlap with EST business hours (9am – 5pm EST) for at least five hours each day. We expect team members, especially client-facing, to be available 9am – 5pm EST (New York Time).
  • Communication Requirement: Native or fluent English skills (written and verbal) since this is a very client-facing role

We are looking for a Growth Labs Manager who is ready to help take the team to the next level of growth.

This role involves overseeing email marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), web development, tracking & analytics, and other critical marketing functions. The Manager will ensure these areas work in concert to drive client success, enhance user experience, and achieve business goals. Ideally, this role will also be able to additionally support, grow, and manage the PPC department in the future.

This role oversees project management and client communications for technical growth marketing tasks such as website builds, landing page builds and optimization, conversion tracking, APIs, integrations, analytics, and email marketing for multiple clients across exciting industries.  This team still has a ton of potential for growth, and the ideal candidate should be excited to take a strong foundation and build upon it to be even more profitable. Department Leadership:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring a unified approach to delivering marketing solutions.
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists in various disciplines such as email marketing, CRO, web development, and analytics.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the department.

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies that enhance client campaigns and projects across various marketing channels.
  • Ensure that strategies are innovative, data-driven, and aligned with both client objectives and the agency’s business goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to maintain competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.

Client Management and Growth:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, objectives, and expectations.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality service and solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-functional integration within the agency.

Performance Optimization:

  • Drive continuous optimization of department processes and strategies for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement rigorous testing and conversion rate optimization strategies to improve client outcomes.
  • Oversee the utilization of tracking and analytics to measure campaign performance and inform future strategies.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments and directors to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client campaigns.
  • Contribute to agency-wide initiatives and discussions, providing insights and strategies from your department’s perspective.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Help with pricing to ensure a profitable margin
  • Evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and partnerships that enhance the department’s capabilities and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Required: Complete fluency in English written and verbal communication is required. No exceptions.
  • Required: 2+ years of experience in a cross-channel digital marketing role (Email, Websites, Social, CRM, and/or Paid Media) with budgets and users exceeding 20k/mo.
  • Required: Expert experience in Funnel Marketing (Landing Pages, CRO, Conversion Tracking, Email Marketing)
  • Required: Expert experience in Analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel)
  • Required: Ability to or understand HTML, CSS, JS, and API Integrations.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of integrations cross-platform (CRM, Websites, Mobile Applications)
  • Preferred: Experience managing / coaching a team of 4+ is preferred.
  • Nice to have: Experience in Paid Media Channels (Google, Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin, Apple Search Ads, Twitter, Programmatic, Bing, TikTok YouTube, etc)
  • Nice to have: Experience with copywriting and brand marketing.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
    • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate insights and recommended actions.
    • Strong levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation. We do not micromanage and encourage ownership of your projects and accounts.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
